The restaurant has a colourful decor, friendly staff and overall a cheerful atmosphere. They say they cook authentic Malaysian food; well I can verify this, however, I can say that I love every dish on their menu. They were voted 'Best Other Asian Restaurant' in 2008 and 'Best South East Asian Restauranr' in 2009. I think this alone says a lot. Lire plus

I recently visited this (new?) location with my friends and much to my joy the service was cool and attractive and the server was attentive... In other words, very good!! The food was good to above average and well cooked! tasty Chicken, and I special ordered melting cheese. Being a fan of inventive food, I will probably return to this location just for that but would definitely take a drive here also to satisfy my appetite for eye candy. I really liked it although the cheese was kinda salty and after a while. I would definitly go again, the waitresses were really cute but kinda old. Lire plus

If my boyfriend and I want great food that never disappoints we make the teck from Maple Ridge to Charlie's it's hands down our favorite place to eat and the fact that they have gluten free options is even better as I have celiac and finding places that have a clear menu for gluten free and is safe and understanding and doesn't judge me for something I can't control. Safe to say Charlie's is my happy place. Ohhh and the view isn't half bad either ? Go see for yourself Lire plus

I have visited their restaurant once before and had a nice dinner experience with friends but wanted to enjoy my meal this night at home so I ordered takeout. I had their bacon wrapped chicken which was prepared just right. The bacon was crispy and the chicken very moist. A good helping of yummy mashed potatoes, asparagus puree and an Asian coleslaw so hopefully you like cilantro. The food was ready at the bar for pickup. Lire plus
